If you ask most people who Jesus was, they will tell you He was a "good man" or a "teacher" or a "prophet". Jesus himself however goes further and says, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". (John 14:6) He also said, "for God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life". (John 3:16) In these two quotations from the bible, Jesus claims to be the one and only Son of God and clearly states that without belief in Him, one will not go to the Father. For many people and perhaps you, this stretches your belief system to the max. That's understandable. Thankfully, God is a God of incredible love,patience and grace. He meets you where you are, and is a gentleman. Through His Son, Jesus, you can have a personal relationship with Him. "If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9) Do it now, if this makes sense to you, and then tell someone about your decision to make Jesus the Lord of your life. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9)
